G'day, I am an artist living in
beautiful Melbourne, Australia and wire wrapping gemstones is my
passion, and a progression from making normal beaded jewellery. I
particularly like natural crystals, such as points and raw gemstones,
sometimes combining them. The gems themselves help me with determining
the direction of the wire, each stone is so individual, and designs sort
of create themselves. All my jewellery is handcrafted using
quality gemstones and natural crystals, Sterling silver and 14k rolled
gold wire, and Swarovski crystals.
The description of gemstones that most
appeals to me is that they are "part of the earth's DNA". Even if you
feel they don't have any special metaphysical properties, I am sure you
will agree with me that they have an enduring quality and beauty. All my
jewellery is one of a kind, created in the inspiration of the moment and
made with care.
I've always loved 'the
patterns of life', the beauty that natures provides so bountifully, and
aim to create unusual pieces that can be both used
in daily life, and also treasured. As well as wire wrapped jewellery I
